Liquid Biotin (B7) in low-dose, clean formulation. Designed for people who want hair, skin, and nail support without the mega-doses (and lab test interference) that come with most biotin supplements on the market.
What B7 (Biotin) Does
Biotin is essential for healthy hair, skin, and nail growth — the use it’s best known for. But biotin’s role goes well beyond that. It plays a key part in energy metabolism, supports the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins for cellular use, and is involved in gene expression and fatty acid synthesis. Biotin deficiency is relatively rare in healthy adults, but supplementation can support those with higher needs.
Why Our Form
We use biotin (D-Biotin) — the standard, well-tolerated form of B7. Unlike B6, B9, and B12, biotin doesn’t have a “methylated” version that overstimulates sensitive systems. The differentiator for our biotin isn’t the form — it’s the dose.
Why Low-Dose (And Why That Actually Matters)
Most “premium” biotin products run 5,000 to 10,000 mcg per serving — sometimes more. That’s roughly 16,000% to 33,000% of the daily value. The thinking is “more biotin = faster hair growth.” The reality is more nuanced.
First, your body can only use so much biotin at once. Excess gets excreted.
Second — and this is the part most brands don’t mention — high-dose biotin (typically above 5,000 mcg/day) can interfere with common lab tests, including thyroid function tests, troponin tests (used to diagnose heart attacks), and others. The FDA has issued warnings about this. If you take mega-dose biotin and have bloodwork done, your results may be inaccurate enough to lead to misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis.
We keep our biotin at 500% DV or less, which supports hair, skin, and nail health without the dose-related risks of mega-dose products. The liquid format means you can adjust your serving drop by drop and absorb it without capsule fillers or binders.
